New Toys for a New Yard

This was the first week of Mama's summer break...and Friday started the first class in summer school. Oh well!

Judah played with Abby on Monday and then we spent several rainy days at home trying not to irritate each other while we were cooped up. We went to some yard sales on Saturday to find yard toys for Judah for our new yard. She enjoyed playing with things at each sale and getting to take some things home. She did NOT enjoy leaving other things at the sales. She is two after all.

Judah Quotes:

- "MOM!" This is new and unwelcome as far as Mama is concerned.

- "Pretty please!" Who taught her that?!?

- "Maybe...juss maybe...if I can be sweet, you can go buy me a ice cream!"

- "Mama! I has a good idea! Less juss move my carseat up to that seat by you! We sit up there together! That will be nice for us!" She would do almost anything to sit in the front seat.

"Lauren gave me this frog an I do NOT have to give it back! She say him can live at my house now! I juss love my little froggy guy!"

Did someone request silly faces? Judah looks like she needs to use the facilities.

"I gonna see Dora the Splorer! That lady up there (usher) gave me this star! It has eyes on it! That's silly!"

"Mama! I get to pet this bunny! Maybe he wants to sit in my lap!"

"Oh Mama! I am so proud of this iron-ey board. Its juss wike Abby's and this one is mine! I just need to iron this jammie shirt for tonight..."

She saw this ironing board ($2) at a yard sale and had to have it so she could iron "wike Daddy!"

tee hee...Mama doesn't iron!

And then.....(drum roll please)........she got........A NEW CAR!!!

"Mama, this not a vintage! This is my car! Ok, see you later! I'm goin to the store...if you can be sweet, maybe I get you a fruit snacks!"

"Don't you try to get in here, Mama! You are too huge!"

"I will sit on this bike, but I will not ride it right now. Take the picture for Breen and let me go back to my car!"

"Yes, this table is like that big table over there...I like this one cause it is mine! Let me sit here and that brella keep the sun off of me! Mama! I has an idea! Less have a picnic and not take a nap!"
