Guess What! We MOVED!

Here is the scoop...our old complex developed a serious bug infestation and was going to be treated with some NASTY chemicals. Our choice was to have everything we own covered in such chemicals and deal with the possibility of bugs deciding to move in to our apartment OR move. We chose to move...hence the two weeks of blog silence. Our new place is a house with 2 apartments in it (new neighbor is very nice) and we have a fenced backyard! It is nice and larger than what we had on campus. We are all unpacked (those who know us well know that we are now pros at moving and settling in). Judah is happy in her new room and we switched her to a BIG GIRL BED! She was so proud I thought she might explode.

Judah quotes:

- "Mama...go in the wiving room so I can be privately"

- While dragging Dadney's fleece pullover around the apartment by the waist drawstring: "This my dog! Come here wittle dog! His name is 'Humps!'" Him is 'Humps the Dog!'"
Nice. Really nice.

- "Mama, you are my sweet girl."

- After Dadney told her to eat her breakfast in an irritated tone (she sometimes takes an hour or more to eat a meal even when she is hungry): "OK! Relax Dad!"


On moving day, Judah went to a birthday party for her friend Logan and his sister Eva:

If she was acting like she does at home, she was probably saying: "Take a picture...NOW please!"

While blowing on one of these weeds at our new house, she said:

"Mama, I know that if I blow this weed, even more weeds will grow! Dadney will be mad!"




I was told they played nicely together in this car...that is a FIRST!

This are the faces of 3 VERY disappointed girls who learned that some singing and candles were required before they could dine on the cake.

After the party when she got home: "I had some delicious cake at the party! It was chock-ate and had come ice things on it!" (icing)

"Mama! I got the Earth on my shirt! That sounds neat!"

"I peel (feel) pretty proud in my big girl bed! It is all mine! I stay in bed till you come get me in the morning when the sun comes up!"

And, she does! She fell out of bed the first night and I found her standing beside her bed crying last night, but otherwise, she has not gotten up by herself at all in 11 nights!

Mama said: "Judah! I told you not to color on your face!"

Judah replied: "Well, I guess I didn't!"

Mama said: "But I can see pink and yellow tub colors on your face. How did that happen?"

Judah replied: "I sure don't know...maybe Nemo colored on there!"
Mama said: "Nemo didn't do that...you are lying to me."

Judah replied: "Yep. I sure am!"

"I has a dog wike Mewissa (Melissa, upstairs neighbor). Let's go for a walk dog! You be good and I give you a treat!"

"I SURE am pretty sweet!"

"I'm playin in the sprink-less! Dadney! Don't get me! Get me! I am gonna RUN!"

"HELP MAMA! Dadney gets me wiff the sprink-less!"

"I juss need to go back and get some more!"

"Mama, you say diss is Dadney's hat-met? Oh...helm-mint? Hells-men? OH! Is a baseball helm-met! Foot-balls...yeah, thas right Mama!"
