Friends and Fish!

This week gave Judah quite a bit of time with friends. She and Zia spent part of two days together. They are always so excited to see each other and now scream and jump around before the awkward hug to say hello. What sweet girls!

In other Judah news, we have been firmly in the world of pretend the last few weeks. Judah loves to choose a character from a movie or show to be and then assigns Mama and Dadney to be other characters. Her favorites are: Nemo, Piglet, Roo, Tigger, Mogli, Chrissy (Mama and Dadney's dog who lives with Breen and Pop). Mama is usually: Mollney (Molly, Breen and Pop's dog), Dori, Kanga (Roo's mom), and Balou the bear. Dadney is usually: Zoe (Breen and Pop's dog), Tigger or Pooh Bear, Bagera the panther or Nemo's Dadney. Whew! That is complicated, but Judah has it all down. She will say her part of what she remembers from the shows and then tell you what line you should say back to her in the character she assigned you...pretty smart, huh?!?

Judah story: This week we were driving to play date and went over a bump in the road which made Judah's stomach jump...being a car-sick kid, she started saying "NO SICK! NO MY SICK!!!" I reasured her as best I could and then she said: "My get sick in Breen's car" Which is true and happened 2 months ago--we haven't spoken of it since. Then she said, "Do you remember that, Mama?" I assured her that I do remember that and then sat in stunned silence that my not-yet-2 1/2 year old little girl: remembers the event, understands that she is "remembering" and then realizes that she can ask Mama to remember also and that Mama will be able to recall the same event. AAAHHH! The smartness!!!!

Oh, and we got 2 fish this week...

We went to Dave and Busters to celebrate Arjay's (Zia's Dad) birthday...Judah was completely overloaded after an hour, so we left...and she didn't actually play anything but skiball

So, as I mentioned, we got some fish...

"No fish in ah fish house...my watch em any way...Mama go buy a fish ah-morrow...my wait patiently...my eatin ah cookies! More cookies please, Mama!"

"My name ah fish NEMO!!!! Other fish name Nemo's Dadney! My only wook, no touch ah fish...maybe my touch a little..."

He thought to take a moment to be Ben Franklin before finishing the job...

Fire Chief David (who let Judah drive the fire truck) sent Judah some Jr. Fire person stickers...

"My wear ah sticker a minute...is Cookie Monsser's turn right now..."
She takes her duties seriously.

"My give ah pluggle to Cookie Monsser...he need it...he fussy...shhh, shh, shh, Cookie Monsser...feel better, ever-thing is ok. My hold you...you ok."


And now.....(drum roll please)....the sweet girl sings some songs! Mama and Dadney just love this video!!!
