In the meantime, JUDAH DECIDED TO USE THE POTTY!!!!!!! We have had her potty seat for a long time and she has been sitting on it without any pee or poop for months...until Tuesday! She came running up to me, trying to disrobe and said, "Mama! My peepee on ah potty! Please!!!" We ran into the bathroom, tiny clothes flying and diaper left in the hall till she made it to the potty and promptly started to pee! Mama just about busted an artery with all the praise, clapping and dancing that followed! Since then, Judah only pees in a diaper at night and has only had a few small accidents. She pooped in the potty once and still wants a diaper to do #2. Even so, at home, she is wearing big girl underpants and goes to the potty without help...until it is time to wipe. She is really proud of herself and seems very committed to the whole potty thing. She has even asked to pee in the mall and restaurant without prompting and is very successful! Mama and Dadney are so proud and so thrilled! It will likely be a number of weeks/months till she has the whole thing down completely, but we are on her pace and that is fine for us. What a BIG GIRL!!!
In other news, Garrett, Tessa and Kami came for a long weekend. Judah and Kami started playing immediately like they have always been together. They play chase and pretend eating and cooking, books and writing on the chalkboard. It has been a great weekend and wonderful to spend time with good friends.
Check out our week...
"My get ah Dadney's nose!"
"What's ah in there, Dadney? Got any some boogers? My will look!"
Then, friends arrived!
They love the alphabet book!
Yes, her name is Kami, but Judah says "Tami"
Then, we played on the big breakfast at the mall...
"My lay down in ah milk! My swim in ah cereals!"
"Garrett (yes, she can say it!), say jump, jump!"
Then, we took the girls to their FIRST MOVIE! We saw Despereaux and Judah sat/paced through the whole thing!
"My drive ah game!"
Mama thinks the popcorn is the biggest of the three...that is a HUGE popcorn!
Judah kept talking throughout the movie, "That MY movie! MY mouse movie! Dadney, what is ah happen? What is ah mouse doing? Mouse is sad...mouse eat ah cheese...mouse is running..." etc. The people in front of us were kind enough to think her commentary was funny. Nice people!
But, not every moment was happy...
the food was good, the girls were not
oh well!
What a pair!

Wow, the two of them together is pretty much cuteness overload. Sweet girls.
And I hear you on the whole Potty Time with Elmo. I about want to throw up when the kids start telling what they like to call their business. But way to go, Judah!
Yay for friends! We had so much fun in Denver with you guys. Can't wait to see you again.
What a wonderful hostess Judah was. We're glad the visit was enjoyed by all.
