A Trip to Tennessee

Well, our trip was fun and eventful. Judah was sweet the whole weekend and only received one "out-out" for running away from Mama in a mall. Judah was very happy to be with Nana and Papa, aunt Janna and baby Oliver for the weekend. We saw lots of family that I haven't seen in YEARS. Henderson, Tennessee is a strange place for a Colorado girl. Hot 100 degree days! Humid too! Judah and Mama didn't even need lotion.

Meanwhile, Daddy went rafting on the Arkansas river with a friend from Texas and camped out for a few days. He got to eat at his favorite pizza place in the world: Amica's

Judah started responding to our statements of love for her...we say "I love you" and she responds "luh you"

Also sweet and funny, Judah heard a bank teller say "thank you very much!" to Mama a few weeks ago and now says "thank you...much!" most of the time. She will also say "welcome!" for you if you don't say it first. What a sweet girl!

Earlier this week...

Judah loves reading with Daddy

she also loves chocolate "chock-lick!"

And she has been climbing...

Yes, we are in trouble! Lights on...lights off...AC on...AC off...and so on until time out is had by all.

Now for the weekend...

Four generations...Nana, Ginny, Mama and Judah
By the way, Judah protested the photo and then Mama said "If you will look a the camera and smile, Mama will give you a sucker"...you can see the result for yourself.

We spent some time at the Opry Mills mall in Nashville (it was tax free weekend and CROWDED!)

Papa winning points with Judah "splash!"

"kicking!"

Papa tired of the splashing and just threw her in.
NOT REALLY! Don't worry, Papa has patience of steel. Still, it is a funny picture.

Papa winning more points with Judah...a high bounce ball! She chased it around Old Navy for about 30 minutes.

Nana won points by taking Judah into a play area with a carousel. Judah rode it about 15 times!

Judah was tired as we waited for dinner and Nana took her back to ride more...and then even more after Judah finished her dinner.

Judah took a special ride with Papa at the airport

Sweet Nana and Papa!

with tiny Oliver! He is a lot like Judah was as a tiny baby.

So, with three cameras going, many of the moments were on Janna or Nana's cameras. I will pose some of those next week after they send them to me.

Please note that in order for Judah to say "Papa" she first has to say "Pop"
