Say What?!?

We have entered the world of sentences! Judah is stringing together more and more words to form a sentence...the only problem is that there may be 5 or 6 words and they can be in a strange arrangement. For instance, a few days ago, Judah wanted to get a stuffed dog from her room, but the light was off. She said to me "Mama, Judah room...see...go light!" My translation is "Mama, turn on the light in my room so I can see!"

She remembers things now that happened weeks ago and often recalls things that only happened or were only said once. I find myself thinking: Where did she hear that? When did she learn that word? or Do we say that?!? She seems to understand time out now and just the mention of it is enough to curb most undesirable behavior. Still, she does this thing where she won't look at you and hangs her head a bit while continuing to do whatever I just told her not to do. She can be quite stubborn. I am told that this makes her like her aunt Kelsey, but I am pretty sure she got a good helping of that from her Mama too.

What a joy to be near her and watch her grow up. She is such a sweet girl...but you knew that!

Some photos from last weekend in Tennessee:

Judah and Papa found the rolling mirror in Old Navy...I am not sure who was having more fun

Papa provided the still popular high bounce ball. It has become a regular feature in the tub and does some CRAZY things in there!

Nana showed Judah the "feesh" at the mall.

"Like-it, feesh!"

Mama got her snuggle on with baby Oliver. He is SO BIG compared to Judah at 6 weeks. He is a lot like Judah in temperment, hardly cries and is snuggly.

"hold-it, baby Oliver?!?" She took my instruction about holding his head in her elbow and kept watching her own hand to make sure she held her elbow up to support his head.

they were both happy...really, they were!

"kiss-it, baby Oliver!" Then she said "Like-it, holdin baby!...OK, done!" and proceeded to try and get up by rolling him off of her. Fortunately Mama was there to take him.

Like-it! Mama holdin sweet Judah!

When we returned, Judah spent some time with her friend Zia...

The girls requested "rosies! asses!" and Mama sang while they held hands and spun around. Wow!

So, Judah found something in the bathroom on the towel bar and showed Mama with pride!

"Found-it, Mama's boobies!"
It's a little big for her and I am afraid she will grow into it before I know it!
Daddy will have none of that!

Sweet!

Judah had her first icecream cone from DQ. Daddy licked the drips, but she ate it all. Of the cone, she said "MMMMMMM...it's cookie, Judah like-it!"

Mama took Judah to the Denver zoo just for fun and she found a new friend who wanted to eat her as a snack!

Seriously, this mountain lion tracked her and crouched like it was going to pounce...people were talking and saying it is really good that the lion was securely caged. Judah thought it was great fun to be running back and forth with the lion.

I barely missed the shot of her spontaneously swinging from this railing. I guess that is an in-born kid thing that forces them to dangle by their armpits from anything they can reach.

So, this next one is NOT set up...she did this on her own on the drive home from the zoo

Her comment: "water-hat!"

Yep, folks, it's Oreo and it is good!

That face kills me! I love Mama's boobies, but not like that. And that is what she said.
