A Whole Lotta Judah!

Our July has been full of Judah-riffic fun! We had a visit from Nana and Papa, time at the pool, time with friends, and a RV camping trip with Aunt Janna and family that included daily visits to a hot springs. We are back home and in the swing of getting ready for Judah to start back to school in 2 weeks. WHEW!

Judah went to the doctor for a checkup prior to starting school again. The stats: Height 3'4" (66th percentile for height), Weight 30lbs. 4 oz. (16th percentile for weight). She's a slightly short string bean...we like to call her Judah Bean

Judah Quotes and Things:

- Last night I told J to go get ready for bed. She apparently had a different idea. 5 minutes later, she streaks out of her room--stark naked--with a cat mask on her face. It took another 10 minutes to convince her to be Judah rather than a bald cat. Sigh.

- I asked J to try an edamame bean as we were getting ready to sit down for dinner. She said, "NO, I don't like that!" and I said "How do you know, you haven't tried it. Try it and you might like it." She curtly replied, "How do you know?"

- While coloring penguins and seals in a coloring book: "Mama! It's so small and cute! This baby seal will grow up big and ugly to eat these sweet little penguins...oh! That's so sad, but it's gonna happen."

Around here, we call her the "Truth Teller" because she constantly states the truth about things that most adults don't think to comment on in daily life. Such as:

- "Well, farts are natural, but this one smells like eggs!"

Worms for fishing

"We tried and tried to fish, but we just couldn't make it work. Sometimes you just fish and fish and never even catch a fish."

Again with the truth statements.

Here is how she tells the story: "I rode on Brutus and he liked to be the leader, but he wasn't s-posed to be the leader, and Papa's horse--his name was not Dork, but Papa called him Dork and I don't know his actual name--liked to be the leader too, but then he put his nose up by Brutus' butt and Brutus tooted and farted on his nose!!!!!!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Someone does wear the pants...

Nana struggled in the ball pit

This ride made J's tummy hurt and each time they went past the operator, she would yell: "I"M DONE!"
