SLEEP! We need SLEEP!

Judah has, in the last 3 weeks, stopped taking naps (with the exception of yesterday). She also started getting up earlier in the morning. Basically, she lopped abour 3 hours of sleep per day off in one fell swoop. AAAARRRRGGGGHHH!!! We are all tired and struggling to adjust to this new schedule. And, when I say "we," I mean Mama and Dadney...Judah is doing just fine!

"Mama, I didn't sweep (sleep) wast night. I cried and cried and I scream some too! You and Dadney didn't sweep too! We was awake together!.......Now, (YAWN) I is very tired. I juss lay here a minute."

Of note: Judah was awake for almost 5 hours in the middle of the night that night. She pretends in the night that she can't cover herself up...yet, when I walked in the room that morning, she had found BOTH a makeshift pillow AND a blanket and was snuggly tucked in without any help.

This is how Mama looked after that night....must say, my hair is pretty punk rock...too bad I don't like punk rock. This is not a pretty look for anyone.




Judah got another hair trim because the back was bothering her when it would tuck inside her shirt collar. She is such a pretty girl!

"OOOHHH Mama! I found this stool and am help you stir this jelly (Jell-O). Please, you let me keep stir this red jelly!"

"I peel (feel) angry! I need a time to my self!"

"I suckin my face in this cup! It make a noise sounds wike a toot!"

"WOOK MAMA!!! I can do this all by myself! I am wike a bridge! You come and go unner me bridge!"

"Ok Mama, you be a sweet girl today! I am goin to work now. I has my com-peeter and my shirt on, so I goin to work! Say, 'Has a good day Mama!'"

"HELP! HELP! I'm stuck in this tree!"


This week, Mama finally let Judah have the family camera to take some photos on her own. She was very careful and took some neat pictures.

"This picture is my room..."

"Mama! I is bein careful and usin two hands and not touch these other buttons! Well, my touched this one, but don't take it away!"

"Mama! Quat down so I can see you in this picture! Make a funny face for me! Thas right...be still so I can take it!"

"This picture is my new fruit snacks and Mama's spray (hairspray)"

"Now I can do a picture of my pot and my other stuff...."

"Smile Mama! CHEESE!"

"This one is my shoe and the car!"

Back to Mama in charge of the camera:

"WOW! We are in this wash car!"

"Is ok Mama, no other kids in the sand, so I can kick it...uh-huh...is ok for me to kick sand if there is no kids! Remember that Mama?"

"I rollin in this sand cause I'm a dog! Juss wike my shirt! Come on shirt dog! Less roll in this sand!"

"I bury my dog bone! Juss wike Clifford and T-Bone!"

"Jumpin for the Mavs!"

"GO MAVS!"

By the way, Dadney is at the Mavs-Nuggets game today cause he scored a sweet ticket!

"What I doin? I dancin! Clap and dance wiss me Mama!"
