"I DON'T!!!"

She is two for sure! It seems like every other sentence out of her mouth is "I dont'!" She is very sure of herself, yet she struggles to decide what she wants and what she doesn't want. We are trying to keep our sanity while she works through developing her autonomy...WHEW!

Judah Sayings:
- "Mama, my is NOT a princess! My is JUDAH!" When Mama asked her who told her she was a princess, she replied, "BREEN say my is a princess...but my NOT! My is JUDAH!!!!!" (anyone in the Shero family remember "just plain Jeannie"?)

- While standing on Mama and Dadney's bed: "1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13...16...19...JUMP ON THE BED!!!!!" followed by crazy laughter and jumping

- As much as we dislike this strategy, we decided to use the counting method to help Judah know how long she can think about something before we step in or before she gets in trouble. After experiencing it a few times, when Dadney asked Judah to do something, she said, "You count to me, Dadney! Say, 1...2...3!"

- "That sound wike good idea!" (said while nodding her head vigorously)

- We went to see Aunt Janna and family this week. As we were talking about each member of their family, we started to talk about Uncle Craig. Judah said "Oh! My wike Buncle Graig!" Mama reminded Judah that he is a doctor and she immediately frowned and said, "NO! My don't wike doctors!" Mama said that he is a nice doctor and that she likes him. Judah replied, "Ok, I guess my wike him...but NOT doctor!"

We went with cousins to Murdock's feed store to see the baby animals.

"I can see all those baby ducks! Those say 'quack!' It is SO FUN! My also see those chickens an roosers! Roosers say 'happy-doodle-do'!!!"

"Don't get me ducks! No bite me!"




"REACH! My try touch Al-son's rabbit!" (Allison and Andrew have several rabbits that Judah loves...unless she is scared of them)



We went to a play gym

"This slide juss right! Is MY size!"

"My can climb in balls and jump and hide!"

"MAMA!!! HELP!!! My hairs is static-ey!"

"Get ready Mama! My gonna come FAST!"

"AAAAHHHHHHH!!!!! MOVE MAMA!!!! My gonna CRASH!!!"

"EEEKKK! Throw me in the balls!"



We went to the hot springs in Glenwood Springs before heading home.

Aunt Janna described this as The Three Sea Nymphs. So right!

"Not take my picture! My DON'T!"

Mama requested silly faces picture...too bad you can't see Judah's...she did silly body instead of silly face!

Mama asked: what is the water like? Judah said "Oh, this water is too warm-ey. Is salty taste too! My wike it so much, Mama! Is feels SO good! My not get out, ok?"

"NO! I DON'T get out! My stay in till Wednesday!" (it was Saturday)



And then came Easter morning at home. It was rainy and cold, so no fun outside. Dadney didn't feel good, so Mama went to church alone this week...still a good day.

"Aunt Kelseys and Buncle Chan gived me this Pig-e-et sucker! My is gonna eat it right up! For lunch!"

"This not a sucker! What is this, Mama?...march-mellos-ey? That FUNNY! Tastes wike sugars! That good!"

"My color on this egg wiff Lauren and Marley at Aunt Janna's house...my did a good job!"

"My tend I eat it! Chomp!"

"These are mine! Not yours! Ok, Mama? You say, 'ok'!"
