Well, this was a big week for Mama. FunCole went home on Monday morning and Mama had some papers due this week at school. Aunt Janna and kids came to visit and MAMA TURNED 30! Mama actually welcomes this birthday. Leaving the 20s is a sweet thing indeed.
Of note, I will be adding a feature to the blog that allows you to become a "Follower" and let me see who you all are. Please sign up...it is fun for an old lady to see you!
I will be trying to include more of Judah's actual words (as I remember them) for you to see. Her words will appear in quotes.
Big moment this week: Judah, having heard this from Mama (and Dadney!) countless times in an expression of urgency or frustration now ends some of her requests/demands with "RIGHT NOW!" This is not a proud moment for Mama, folks.
Mama and Judah wearing lip gloss...don't keel over anyone! Mama likes to wear it from time to time. No standing date at the Clinique counter, just an occasional desire to be lip-pretty.
Judah rode the train from our place to downtown last weekend for the first time. She loved it!
"Judah ride ah train! Judah ride ah train! Hello people! Judah ridin ah train!"
What a lovely person!
Tub faces montage:

Happy talking...

scared...

"e-i-e-i-OOOOHHHHH!"

"Mama take ah pik-tur ah Judah feed ah baby ah bottle!...pleeeese!"...
"Judah sit in ah Mama rock-in chair an feed ah baby!"...
"Mama take ah pik-tur right now!"

"I ah swimmin!"
We had a play date at Logan's house this week:

Three sweet little kids on Logan's bed...no worries, the baby is named "Casey" and she is not real...I call her "Scary Baby" She scares the crap out of Mama every time we are there. Just imagine walking past a child's room and a baby is looking at you from the corner of the bed...or under the bed...or out of a toy box. This thing looks real, people!
Mama carved a "funkin" (foam pumpkin) at Logan's house for Judah. Like the unibrow?
Judah loves it and the little light inside that flickers. She requested a picture with her "punkin"
Evidently, the picture that did not have baby in it was not sufficient. We had a re-do at Judah's request with baby in the picture.
Judah also spent time with Zia:
These two LOVE Jungle Book. They are watching it here.
Judah also LOVES Zia's bike. "Judah ride on ah Zia's bike! Ride ah bike FUN! No Zia have ah turn!"
Anyone looking for Christmas ideas???
House!
Aunt Janna, cousin Lauren and cousin Oliver came to celebrate Mama's 30th...most of the pictures are on her camera...sorry folks!
What love!
Judah said "Judah hold it, the Oliver. Pleeeese! Want it, the Oliver!"

"Judah feed the Oliver! No Dadney help!"

Cousins!

Here Mama appears on her birthday at the park before a surprise lunch with all Mama's Denver friends at a great restaurant! YUM! 30 tastes good!

30 looks beautiful on you, sweet friend. Happy, Happy Birthday! I loved all of Judah's quotes. Such a precious little girl. I was reminded of our pumpkin carving night in your Smith Adams apartment. Was it ours that was rotten or yours? Anyway, we miss you guys terribly. Love you much!
Judah is more beautiful all the time! So sweet! Happy Birthday!!
Happy Birthday Jeannie! I love the bathtub pictures and all of the pictures with the baby!
I met the new Gardner Hall director the other day. Hearing her stories made me think of our Nelson days...they were fun!!
Hope your birthday was fun! I love Judah's quotes. She sounds like she has such a sweet personality.
Also, I almost passed out when I saw the lip gloss! :)
