Nearing 18 Months!!! What a BIG GIRL!

Our sweet girl is into EVERYTHING! She knows how to open things, to throw things, to kick things, talk, to take her own clothes off, to sit on the potty (seriously, SHE asked to get on the "p-ah-ey"), run, jump, make faces, and get her way...this should come as no surprise for her grandparents.

We started the week uneventfully...then, we went on a play-date with Judah's friends...to an awesome indoor pool. Unfortunately, there were a shortage of extra adults for photos, but I assure you that Judah was the cutest sweet girl in her new swim suit. The following is our trip to and from the rec-center.

So, preparing for the trip, we put Michelle's camera on a seat edge and hoped for the best, but just as the timer was ending, the car rocked and the camera began to plumet to the floor...this is the resulting shot.

Top: Cathy, Mama, Michelle

Bottom: Judah, Zia (Cathy's girl), Abby (Michelle's girl)

And the second try...

Judah just wants to hold hands...how sweet! Zia was not so interested as it turned out.

After 1 1/2 hours of swimming and a playground and lunch and a huge head-bonk for Judah, the girls began to crash...

"Hey! Why are my friends not playing?"

"Oh, that's why...yawn"

We're HOME! or "hom" as Judah says...she is happy to go eat and nap.
It is so good to have friends and that Judah has friends. They all play so well together. Cathy has a swell BIG SUV so that we can fit 3 car-seats across one row. I got the back seat to feed and play...no complaints from this Mama.

What has Judah been up to?

oh, that's what!

Check out that hair...I can't cut it yet! Maybe never! If we do, Aunt Kelsey will do the honors.

Proud girl!

Silly with Daddy!

Yep! Silly!

Mama time

Judah's newest friend--from someone at Mama's work. Thanks!

This morning, I was singing to Judah and she added "cook-ie" at the end...so, we obliged her and she ate a cookie first thing this morning.

Satisfaction! By the way, she was eating around the dough to get the chocolate chips...I want to know who in the gene pool is responsible for this!!! Judah and Papa would make a great cookie team because he avoids the chips!

It doesn't get better than this...sleepy, cool-ie face

Oh, here is the bruise resulting from the swim outing bump...OUCH! As Judah says "urt!" Apparently, the "H" is silent.

Yeah! The Daddy Leg Hang On!

Let me end with a song we sing daily, to the tune of Row Row Row...
Brush, brush, brush your teeth, brush your baby teeth! Brush the top and brush the bottom, brush 'em while you got 'em!
It is an instant classic at our house!
