Judah is talking more every day. She is also making more sense every day. We now understand words like: Daddy, Mama, cracker, more, tiger, dog, thank you, night night, done, love you, down and no. These, of course, are understood by parents and probably by no one else--except "no" which is pretty hard to mistake when a child points at you and says "NO!". Still, we count them as words. Judah is also making animal sounds for: dog, cat and lion. She loves to play chase and to run away while naked or when she sees a clean diaper brought out. Judah still loves bath time and LOVES to feed Mama and Daddy. She likes to laugh and will even pretend laughing when nothing funny is happening...what a silly girl!
So, Judah got a box turtle puppet for her birthday. When Mama was a little girl, she had a live box turtle that she named "Turdy", not knowing what that was. So, Mama found a box turtle for Judah and named it "Turdy Number Two" in honor of her childhood animal friend who met an unfortunate end underneath a lawnmower. May Judah's puppet live to a ripe old age.
