Judah has had a cold/teething for the last 2 weeks and is finally over it. She is starting to imitate our words and to try and say things upon request. Currently, we are working on "dog" for which Judah makes a "d" sound, pauses, and makes a strange, grunting "g" sound. She is trying. She understands more every day. Also, she is making her preferences known more frequently and forcefully. As example...Judah only eats what Judah wants to eat. If you try the wrong thing too many times, the meal is over as far as Judah is concerned--even if you switch to offer her a treat which you feel certain she will want to eat. What a silly girl!

Judah is a keeper--that is why she is not penalized for hand ball
She listens carefully to Daddy's instructions about the game
And throws caution to the wind to take a big bite...
Look what I have!!! Judah likes to show us what she has found and yell about it until we have sufficiently recognized her accomplishment. She also likes us to tell her what she has. She will get our attention and then look at the object in her hand as we tell her its name.
