44 Weeks and Judah Takes a Walk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, first things first...Judah took her first step on Friday the 20th! I came home from work and we were playing and laughing together with Daddy on the other couch. Judah stood up on the floor and I quickly got in front of her and coaxed her to come to me. Judah started to squat down to crawl, changed her mind, stood back up and took a step toward me! Later that night she took 2 steps twice and one step several more times. Of important note, the 20th was PopDaddy's birthday. Judah got him a first step for his birthday!

Since Friday, Judah is taking a step or so a day but is reluctant to walk because it usually means I will not hold her for a few minutes. We have been trying to video her, but the steps are elusive! We will keep trying...here is Judah when I am trying to get her to walk...

So, we made baricades to keep Judah off the fireplace...she can climb really well now...




I think she has some 6th sense that works only to locate electical equipment and cords...lucky us!
